Dr. Michael Wagner is an independent researcher and writer, and a columnist for the Western Standard. He has a PhD in political science from the University of Alberta and has authored several books on Alberta politics. He has also authored books on Canada’s Christian heritage and religio-cultural development, including Leaving God Behind: The Charter of Rights and Canada's Official Rejection of Christianity. He lives in Edmonton, AB with his wife and eleven children.
